Taking this show on the road…

I can’t believe it’s almost time to leave. I’ve been waiting for so many years and now it is all coming so quickly. Next week begins my Irish holiday/research trip and I have made the choice to spend the month without my laptop. I’ll still be connected of course, but with less writer-friendly tools, so there will likely be a lot of photos and updates, but less of the wordy and lengthy histories. If you miss those, feel free to pick up a copy of Petticoats, Patriots, and Partition in your favorite bookstore or Amazon market. It is certainly one part of what has made this trip possible.

My first ten days are split between Belfast and Derry. After that I’ll play in Cork for a minute and then probably head over to the West for a few before landing in Dublin for another week or so over Easter. The parts in the middle are very fluid and changeable (on purpose) so if there’s something or somewhere you recommend that I see, please let me know. If you’d like to share a pint somewhere, that would be awesome as well. The next month is going to feature a lot of the good stuff I think and hopefully a lot of music as well.

Now off to pack and to think about all the things. Hope to see some of you soon
